Join Forman Arts Initiative and Mural Arts for a sunset screening in the iconic Love Park as we showcase a special selection of stories reflecting immigrant perspectives through seven Philadelphia-based filmmakers. Each of these films highlights the diverse experiences of being rooted in one place while having a life lived elsewhere. The films explore various perspectives on family, displacement, motherhood, and the expression of identity and shared experiences.

Esta sesión explorará la falta de representación en puestos de liderazgo en el periodismo y el entretenimiento. Los profesionales afrolatinos a menudo se enfrentan a barreras que van desde prácticas de promoción poco claras hasta oportunidades limitadas de tutoría. Los panelistas discutirán la importancia de construir relaciones laborales sólidas, compartir experiencias reales de cómo afrontar estos desafíos y describir los pasos a seguir para que los medios de prensa se motiven a tener líderes afrolatinos.
