After twenty years of working in the media industry in various capacities alongside creating independent projects tied to social justice, founding Inti Media is making a dream come true. As a teenager, my passion for media-making started after watching independent African American and Latin American movies. It was a transformative experience as I finally saw a positive representative of Black and working folks, combined with social criticism conveyed as an art form. From then on, I challenged myself to do the same. Making art and producing news is all about collaborating with creatives and our communities.
